For some, welcoming a newborn may be a once in a lifetime moment. My birth photography clients tend to have experienced infertility issues, been through IVF, had losses, or may have a surrogate or a birth mother who is delivering their baby blessing for them. I understand the intricacies around these circumstances. Even in the most uneventful of pregnancies and deliveries, this is a delicate time for you and your family. You will want an experienced photographer who is familiar with the birthing environment. My goal is to make your birth photography a supportive experience respecting all boundaries of what you do and do not want photographed. You will never regret having the moment your newborn entered this world photographed.

My birth photography is unique in that I also offer comfort care. I am an Ohio State Board licensed LMT certified in labor massage so I can put down the camera from time to time and lend comfort care throughout your labor if need be.

Your entire birth story will be captured; including getting settled into the hospital, birth center, or your home birth environment, all the hard work of your labor, every detail of your newborn during and after delivery, and finally fresh 48 images are taken before you go home (or the next day for home birth).

I never share birth (or any images) without permission. And even with permission, I am fiercely protective of these intimate moments and do not share images of my clients in their most vulnerable moments for attention. I see it happening on social media and do not support that. I also include the entire image and then provide creative crops so that you may share some of your images with family and friends and still maintain a sense of privacy.
