What age should this be done? Baby hands and feet are made via a molding material that requires the baby not to move so this must be done in the early newborn stage. We suggest upto two weeks old. Baby bum casts are made with the same medical grade material as our belly casts and while movement is discouraged it will still be ok if some movements happens. Bum casts are suitable for newborn stage up to one month.
When should I book? Clients should contact us by towards the end of their pregnancy to secure an appointment. The best time to cast is a baby is during the first two weeks. This is a great addition to your newborn session!

Is this crafting plaster material? No, we use medical grade non toxic strips and medical grade molding materials.
Does it hurt? No way Mama! We use a balm that keeps the material from sticking to your babys delicate skin and it is easily removed.
How long will it be on my baby’s body? We’ve been casting for 20 years so we got it down! The bum cast material will only be on your baby’s skin for approximately 3-4 mins. And the baby molding material takes about the same time to set.
Where are you located? Our studio is located in Youngstown in the township of Canfield, Ohio. Serving surroundings areas: Akron, Boardman, Canfield, Cleveland, Youngstown, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Do you travel? Not at this time.
Do I get to pick the paint finish? Absolutely! You can choose between a matte to semi gloss white, silver or gold finish.
What are the display options? For the hand and feet molds: you can opt to have them in a glass keepsake box or displayed in a shadow box to hang on the wall. For the baby bum cast: they are finished with ribbon for hanging.
